- Q?I’m really looking forward to my reading with you Jodi, and I am nervous, is this normal?
-
A.
It is great that you know how you feel! The anticipation of a new experience causes many people to feel a bit aprehensive and excited! Please know that I do not say things in order to scare my clients. We cannot learn when we are afraid so my approach is calming and friendly. Though I do communicate what I intuitively see and hear, I do so in a respectful, upbeat way.
- Q?I know I must be at least 18 years old to schedule. How do I schedule an appointment?
-
A.
Please click Services at the top of the screen on our website. You will be prompted to choose the type of 30-minute reading you would like (phone vs. in office). Date and time options will then appear as well as payment information. Once a date and time have been scheduled, you will be sent a confirmation email by Full Slate as well as one from our office. Our confirmation will include: date and time of the appointment, driving directions, parking information. Please note, payment is non-refundable.
- Q?What methods of payment do you accept?
-
A.
Clients go through our website which links to our scheduling tool, Full Slate. Full Slate walks you through the scheduling process and Paypal walks you through the payment process.
- Q?Where is your office?
-
A.
My office is in Wayzata, Minnesota near 494 & 394. Address and directions are included in our confirmations.
- Q?What is the cost of a reading?
-
A.
A Personal 30-minute in-office or phone reading is $150. There are a limited amount of 60-minute readings and they are $300. A small-group reading is $600. For corporate rate information please contact our office.
- Q?Do you conduct readings over the phone and using Skype?
-
A.
Yes. A phone reading is just as accurate as one conducted in office. If you are more visual in nature, an in-office or skype appointment might work best. When I do a reading, I do not choose what information comes through though I do choose how I share it. Often clients hear what they need to hear and not always want they want to hear. This concept is a difficult one for some and I have found that eye to eye contact in this case can make the process a bit easier.
- Q?How long is a reading?
-
A.
Personal readings are 30 or 60-minutes in length, Small-group readings are 90-minutes and Corporate readings are 90 or longer.
- Q?What should I do to prepare for a reading?
-
A.
Keep your mind open to the possibilities. Clients frequently relay that the information they received during their reading helped move them forward in their life in a very specific way. My goal is and has always been to help my clients increase their joy! Remember, as a medium, I am able to interface with those on the other side. I do not ‘call’ spirits to me but if they are present, I am adept at sensing them. Should you wish to bring a list of questions, feel free to do so! You will be asked to respond with only ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers during the first part of your appointment. Please do not share any personal information about yourself until the question and answer part of the reading.
- Q?Is it okay if I email questions, or provide background information before my reading?
-
A.
With the exception of contact information and referral source, please do not share details about yourself prior to a reading. I do not answer personal questions that pertain to a reading, past or present via email.
- Q?Can I tape the reading?
-
A.
You’re more than welcome to take notes. Recording is not permitted, however, note-taking is encouraged. We have found that note-taking helps keep you grounded and present.
- Q?Can two people share one appointment?
-
A.
The half hour or hour allows for one individual, personal reading. Friends may wait in the lobby until the reading is over.
- Q?Will my loved one come through in a reading?
-
A.
There is no way to guarantee that a spirit will be present. It is the spirit’s choice, not the mediums. Should one visit during your reading; chances are high that I will be able to sense their presence. This is often the most difficult part of having a reading for clients who have recently suffered the loss of a loved one. I wish I could promise that their loved one would come through but that is not the way this process works.
- Q?Do you tell your client’s unpleasant things about their future?
-
A.
It is my obligation to pass on the information that I ascertain during a reading. It is not my intent to deliberately frighten anyone. I do my best to be tactful and respectful in my communication. It is important to note that all readings are subject to interpretation
- Q?Jodi, do you read the future?
-
A.
I am not a fortuneteller. As a trained psychic medium, I am highly skilled at understanding the meaning behind the signs that are presented energetically during a reading. Should a sign indicate that someone might be going back to school, or getting married for instance, I would pass on that information to my client.
- Q?Can Jodi tell me what I want to hear?
-
A.
As a medium, I am a conduit between worlds and an interpreter of information. I am adept at telling people what they need to hear versus what they want to hear.
- Q?What is your cancellation policy?
-
A.
Should you need to reschedule, please do so at least 72-hours prior to the date of your appointment. Your payment is nonrefundable. You may reschedule your appointment if proper notice is extended. The link to reschedule is included in your appointment confirmation email.
- Q?Jodi, you are scheduled several months in advance, is there a way to have a reading sooner?
-
A.
Once you schedule and confirm an appointment, email a request that your name be added to the cancelation list. Thank you most sincerely for your patience!
- Q?How many times per year may I schedule a reading with Jodi?
-
A.
As a rule, I see clients who schedule for individual, personal appointments no more than twice per year. It is my belief that a decent reading will set the client on their own path toward obtaining inner, intuitive answers for themselves.
- Q?Where can I find further reading materials about Metaphysics, Psychics and Mediums?
-

Libraries, bookstores and online resources are also a few great places to start! I recommend reading books, for instance, by John Edward, Florence Scovel Shinn, Edgar Cayce, Abraham-Hicks, Judith Orloff, John Holland, James Van Praagh, Allison DuBois, Sanaya Roman, Mark Anthony, Dr. Adrian Finkelstein, Louise Hay, Marianne Williamson, Janis Amatuzio, Paramahansa Yogananda, and Deepak Chopra. There truly are countless talented psychics and mediums!
Radio shows such as Coast to Coast have an amazing array of talented metaphysically knowledgeable guests. A few more of my personal favorite resources are Mantz & Mitchell Beyond the Darkness Afterlife TV, with Bob Olson, Strange Dimensions with Rosemary Ellen Guiley, and Jim Harold’s podcasts, The Paranormal Podcast.
The work of Edgar Cayce is on the top of my wise and intuitive list. His Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) is a definitely worth checking out.
